About Shannon

Just call her the CEO of Badass. A South Florida native, Shannon is a certified cycling instructor and trainer whose true joy comes in challenging herself and her students and training clients to new levels of fitness and health. By day, Shannon is a director for the Tallahassee-based marketing and public relations firm Moore Consulting Group. But in the mornings and evenings, you'll find her teaching classes, working with clients, and writing her Badass Fitness blog.

Shannon's trademark is her enthusiasm and her passion. She pushes herself and her clients because she knows the body is an amazing temple capable of great feats. No matter where the starting line is, at the finish line is a better, stronger you. Shannon is committed to helping her "Badass Army" get started - and get to the finish line. Toward the end of a cycling class, you'll often hear her say: "Come on, keep pushing. You've come too far to give up now."

She comes from an Irish-Italian family where food equals comfort and love, often in excessive quantities. But she also comes from a family that includes track runners and athletes. Today Shannon preaches a mantra of moderation. Enjoy life, enjoy eating, but work hard and work up a sweat! She believes that inside every person, no matter how young or old, how fit or out of shape, is a fit, happy Badass.

Through this website, Shannon hopes to build her Badass Army and help each and every "recruit" find the Badass within.
